The Technische Universität München (TUM)〔According to official policy, the name “Technische Universität München” shall not be translated into any other languages in any documents produced by university members. If a translation is given in addition to the name as a reference, it shall be translated as ''University of Technology, Munich''.〕 is a research university with campuses in Munich, Garching and Freising-Weihenstephan.
